HUAWEI ASCEND Y520

HI guys, we would be looking at a Huawei budget phone which was announced in December. 2014. Guess what, it has got some heads turning to look at it’s beauty. And we are going to be doing same today. So grab your heads and let’s turn.

Design: This phone comes in number of variety for you to choose from. Black, White, Pink and Blue. It feels perfect when you hold it. The back cover made with plastic though but has got a unique design that makes you really feel the phone when you hold on to it. With a screen size of 4.5”, I guess you know you have got a great phone on your hand which satisfies the want of those who want the so big phone and those who just want the moderate ones. It’s got dimensions of about 134.2*67*10.2mm which means it’s quite perfect in the hands.

Operating System: Huawei stocked the phone with let me say the former latest Google’s Android KitKat Operating system. So you should expect the best from this phone in terms of performance, battery life and so on that comes along with the KitKat.

Memory: Since it is a budget phone, I wouldn’t say this is a down side for the phone. In fact it is somehow perfect but considering the likes of Infinix and Injoo who usually release a phone at this same price with better Memory specifications, it might not be so, so perfect.

This phone comes equipped with an internal memory size of 4GB.

It comes we equipped with 512MB of RAM. So it might not be invincible but with the OS on it, you might still get all you want from it while running those applications.

Processor: This is a bright side for the phone as it comes equipped with 1.3GHz dual core processor. This is really cool.

Camera: Yeah, the camera, also what some of us really like about a phone. It comes with a dual camera like every other phone, with the rear being equipped with 5.0MP of camera with flash while the front camera is about 0.3 MP.

Battery Life: With the capacity of the battery being 1750 mAh, I think we are on for a good ride, if you game a lot or your phone is your best bud then I guess you should get the phone along with a power bank unless you have access to light whenever you need it.

Price: Compared to other budget phones around and even the Infinix Hot, the price might not be so moderate but it is ok. Like I said it’s a budget phone.
