FACEBOOK AFTER DEATH: CHOOSE AN HEIR

Most people have always wondered what would happen to their social network accounts when they pass on. Facebook has got an answer to that. This is about what happens to your Facebook account when you move on to the other side.

The initial policy on the social network initially allows the deceased user’s family members submit a request to have their pages “memoralized,” but all that has changed now has users now have more control over their own post-mortem profiles.

This is how it works, don’t allow the thoughts of a ghost updating profiles from the other end or maybe a program posting for the deceased. Not at all.

Facebook allows the user to assign a “legacy contact” who will be given powers to decide what happens to the profile when the person moves on.

The legacy contact will be able to write a post that will be displayed at the top of the memoralized page’s timeline, respond to the user’s friend requests, and update their profile and cover photos.

This contact can also download a user’s photos posts and profile information as an archive, but like we all want, there would be restrictions, as they would not be able to post on your behalf, change your settings or view your private messages.

Also, the user can instruct Facebook to delete their accounts when they pass on.

This new feature can be done in your settings under “security”.

Currently it works only in the US and i guess it would soon be extended to other countries with other social networks taking a que from Facebook.

Stumbled over this while playing with my phone some days ago and am not really sure whether it’s out there or not but anyways, I love the fact that I figured it out. To cut the story short, all videos you view on Instagram using your devices (Android) are saved on them, cool right. So I would simply be telling you guys where to find and how to view these rib cracking videos over and over and over and…
