RUMOR HAS IT: HTC ONE M9

It's nerdy_subie once again and welcome back to another Rumour Has It Segment. I am gonna cut to the chase on this one. We all loved and still love the HTC One M8: a splendid smartphone with great and stylish build. I am not just saying this cuz am blogging, I actually used one. And now we are getting excited about the next great thing. We know almost nothing about the HTC One M9, while we don't know anything for sure about the HTC One M9 (other than the fact that it's coming), a number of leaks and rumors are starting to come through and it's starting to look like it would be similar to HTC One M8 Prime. HTC’s One (M8) will soon be 1-year old, which means a successor to it is just around the corner. While we were expecting this successor to be called One (M9), recent reports suggest that HTC plans to opt for a different naming scheme. The upcoming smartphone is reportedly codenamed HTC Hima, and should offer plenty of high-end features to buyers of all sort of prefences.
HTC are yet to announce when they'll officially unveil the One M9, but they tend to stick to a fairly rigid pattern, releasing its flagship phones within a few weeks of MWC. Next year’s MWC takes place between the 3rd and 5th of March, so we’ll likely see an announcement either during the show or shortly afterwards, with a release likely to take place the very same month.
Reports claim it will have a 5.5-inch 2560 x 1440 QHD display, 3GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 805 processor, and a 3500 mAh battery, all of which are the expected upgrades. But, the supposed HTC One M9 is also expected to feature a 16-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, meaning HTC could well be leaving behind the UltraPixel hardware. Unsurprisingly it's rumored to run Android 5.0 Lollipop. Also, given that Apple purchased Beats, HTC had to find a different audio partner, and that new partner could well be Bose. And, the chassis will apparently be an aluminium silicon-carbide composite, though there's no word on what the actual design will be.
Another completely different piece of juicy gossip on HTC M9 specs is that HTC will drop the M9 moniker. They've now followed that up with more specific information, claiming that the next flagship will be called the HTC Hima. That wouldn't be a bad thing, given the M8 suffix isn't the most attractive - but let's be honest, that's clearly a codename. This latest nugget of news was also accompanied by a specs listing, which is somewhat at odds with what we'd heard previously. According to my 2nd source, the HTC Hima will have 3GB of RAM and an octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor, with four cores running at 2.0GHz and four at 1.5GHz, allowing it to switch between them depending on what it's doing, using the slower cores to conserve battery when the extra power isn't needed. Speaking of battery, it will apparently have just a 2840 mAh juice pack, but that's still an upgrade on the One M8's battery and combined with a more efficient processor it could get the job done, especially as the same source claims that HTC will be sticking with a 5-inch 1080p screen, rather than moving to QHD. Rounding out the specs the Hima is said to have a 20.7MP main camera, either a 13MP or 4 UltraPixel front-facing snapper, Cat.6 LTE support and Android 5.0, overlaid with Sense 7.0. For the most part that sounds mighty promising.
Whether its the first or second, you would agree with me that both specs are both mind blowing and they would definitely give other competitors something to think about. 2015 is gonna be the bomb mehn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SEE YOU GUYZ NEXT WEEK
